Back by popular demand, YGC Productions presents guitarist/composer Kevin Jackson at Keystone Korner Baltimore!Just a few years ago, Kevin Jackson made a move from side man to lead, performing on the Main Stage at Baltimore’s premier art festival, Artscape, opening for R&B star Anthony Hamilton. Since that time, he has performed and shared national stages with noted percussionists Sheila E and Pete Escovedo, and R&B and jazz artists El DeBarge, Dwele, and Marcus Johnson.
A Baltimore-native, Kevin Jackson has been taking the smooth jazz industry by storm since 2012 collaborating with a number of nationally renowned artists including Wyclef, Maysa, Julian Vaughn, to name a few. His current single "Be Free" can be found on the Billboard Smooth Jazz playlist, Watercolors on Sirius XM. Jackson's musical diversity offers something for everyone as he dabbles in varied musical genres--Rock, Contemporary Christian, Jazz, Latin, R&B and more.
Jackson’s mix of original compositions and acoustic renditions take his listeners on a musical journey of anticipation for what’s next. Often called the “quiet giant” due to his humble and quiet nature, Kevin’s stage persona is anything but quiet.
