A Night of Music for Recovery
About this Event
On Thursday, August 20, the Sacramento community, fellow artists, and civic leaders will gather live on the patio at Wildwood Kitchen & Bar in the Pavilions for an evening of music, unity, and support for beloved local singer, songwriter, and musician Clemón Charles.
Clemon, a staple of the Sacramento music scene known for his soulful sound and generous spirit, recently suffered a stroke and sadly lost his ability to sing. Having spent decades bringing joy, warmth, and music to Northern California, his loyal friends and the Sacramento community are now stepping up to raise vital funds for his rehabilitation—serving as his voice until he can regain the use of his own.
The benefit event will feature an all-star lineup of Sacramento personalities, musicians, and community leaders coming together for a cause close to their hearts:
Emcee: Veteran broadcaster and TV personality Mark S. Allen will keep the energy high as the host for the evening.
Auctioneer: Community advocate Freddie Silveira will lead a live auction featuring exclusive experiences and local packages, with 100% of proceeds directly funding Clemon’s recovery and medical care.
Special Performances: A stellar lineup of local icons—including Hans Eberbach with the Clemón Charles Band, Kitty O’Neal with Skyler's Pool, Kimi Wells, Louis Valetine Johnson and other special guests—will take the stage to honor Clemon’s musical legacy.
All proceeds support Clemón's rehabilitation and stroke recovery in the hopes of a full recovery.
Early arrival is encouraged for first come first served seating.
