Join us on Wednesday, March 27th, at 7 pm for a night of jazz presented by Claremont's very own Joan Huffer band.

Joan attended Oberlin College and Conservatory, where they studied jazz guitar and audio engineering. During their time at Oberlin Joan developed a robust repertoire of solo guitar playing, in addition to their experiences playing in small jazz, bosa nova, and hip-hop ensembles.

They also spent time working in the conservatory audio department, recording and cataloging student and faculty small classical and jazz performances. Now residing in Pomona, CA Joan regularly performs in solo and trio settings. They also perform with Dixie Reese’s band and in the house band at ‘the Gordon House'.
