Please plan to join us as we honor Michigan Football legends Jim Brandstatter & Dan Dierdorf, the longtime voices of Michigan Football!The U-M Athletic Department, the U-M Club of Greater Detroit and the Football Alumni of Michigan (FAM) will host a tribute celebration for Jim and Dan to honor their decades of service, innumerable contributions to the university, and bringing Michigan Football to Wolverine fans nationwide from the broadcast booth.
The Brandstatter/Dierdorf Tribute will be held on Thursday, June 2, at Laurel Manor, 39000 Schoolcraft Road, Livonia, Michigan 48150. Doors will open at 5:30pm, dinner at 6:30pm, and the tribute will begin at 7:30pm.
The program will include an all-star cast hosted by longtime Michigan SID Bruce Madej. Guest speakers will include Reggie MacKenzie, Jon Jansen, Jim Betts, Dick Caldarazzo, Pete Newell and Angelique Chengelis with some big surprises along the way. Tickets are $85.00 for dinner or $600 for a table of 8. There will be a cash bar.
Proceeds for the event will go to the The U of M Club of Greater Detroit Scholarship Fund and FAM’s Chad Tough fund.
