About this Event

KARMA is an up and coming romantic dramedy short film about ambition, desire, and what happens when you finally stop waiting to be chosen and start choosing yourself.

At its core, KARMA is committed to telling coming-of-age stories that center young Black women in moments of softness, awkwardness, and humor. Supporting this film helps emerging filmmakers bring fresh, independent voices and perspectives to the screen.

As the closing event of our month-long crowdfunding campaign, the KARMA team invites you to an evening of connection, creativity, and community at Baby Battista. Expect a relaxed, lively evening bringing together creatives of all kinds to connect, mingle, and maybe spark something unexpected.

Come alone or with friends. We’ll have light-touch connection activities throughout the evening to help spark conversations, collaborations, and maybe even help you meet your creative match. And of course, don’t hold back on the wine;)

About The Venue

baby battista is the downstairs bar located inside nico's in Atwater Village. The bar at baby battista is open at 5 so feel free to swing by before and grab a drink and a snack before the show! The bar has been featured by Eater LA, The Infatuation, LA Times and more.

All bar guests, performers and ticket holders must be 21+. Lineup is subject to change. There is no outside door or beverage allowed. baby battista is ADA accessible and can provide assitive listening devices upon request. Please contact us at [email protected] if any questions ahead of the show.
