The music includes works by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi and Rossini, from operas including The Magic Flute, La traviata, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Turandot and many more. Highlights include ‘Largo al factotum’ from The Barber of Seville , the triumphant ‘Toreador Song’ from Carmen , the tender beauty of ‘O mio babbino caro’, and the soaring finale ‘Nessun dorma’, as well as celebrated ensemble moments — from Mozart’s serene trio ‘Soave sia il vento’ from Così fan tutte to Verdi’s dramatic quartet ‘Bella figlia dell’amore’ from Rigoletto . Whether you are discovering opera for the first time or returning for another unforgettable evening, this programme promises passion, drama, laughter and music that lingers long after the final note.
