About this Event
Join Toronto's First Post Office & special guest, Richard Fiennes-Clinton, as we experience the museum after hours with a presentation on the traditions surrounding the Victorian culture of death and dying & the spread of spiritualism in Toronto! After the presentation, write a 19th century Halloween poem with a quill and ink.
Spots are strictly limited & registration is required!

About our Special Guest:
Born in Toronto, Richard Fiennes-Clinton has been involved in the local Toronto historical community for over 30 years. He is regularly involved with annual cultural and heritage events, and has spoken to a number of historical societies over the years. He gives walking tours all across Toronto, and organized and collected an abundance of archival material, which he uses to give illustrated presentations on more than 200 years of Toronto history. He frequently contributes to local television, radio and print media related to the history of the city. Notably, he operates Muddy York Walking Tours and has recently authored a book called "Muddy York - A History of Toronto Until 1834", copies of which are available for purchase at Toronto's First Post Office.
