A Nice Day Out: Zine-Making Edition!

We will be making a collaborative zine altogether - each person will make their own page(s) to add to a community zine compiled by Coin-Operated Press. When it's complete, we will mail you out the finished zine, or you can pick up a copy from the next A Nice Day Out event! Our zine will be themed around community, friendship, and all the connections that A Nice Day Out has created through inspired events! - don't worry if you're feeling a wee bit stuck, we will have a prompts list with ideas for you to work from.

All experience levels are welcome!
Never made a zine before? Never even heard of a zine before? Wondering what the heck we're talking about?! We will introduce you to a short history of zines and show off some zines from our collection so you can get a good idea of what zines are all about!

All materials are provided!
But please feel free to bring any collage supplies (this can include old magazines, photos, product packaging, cool stationery, ribbons, sequins, and so much more!) or your favourite art supplies if you want to add a personal touch to your zine pages!

Numbers are limited so please register here, and entry is by donation:

£3-5 is a fantastic solidarity payment, and we really appreciate your support.

£7 will help cover material costs and printing your copy of the zine.

£15 will fully cover all workshop costs.

£15+ is super appreciated if you are able, as it will help us to continue our work with zine-outreach programmes and publishing the work of those who might not otherwise be published.
