If no one told you in Sunday School or Catechism, Jesus is ALL about fresh starts. He didn’t care much about what people had done or who they’d been prior to their meeting. People walked away from every encounter with Jesus changed. And that still happens today!
We don’t have to be defined by our hurt or our history or our mistakes. When we can just connect with Him, our accounts will be cleared and our failures forgotten. If God loves us enough to separate us from transgressions as far as the “east is from the west” (Psalm 103:12), He’s offering an amnesty that is absolute and ever-lasting.
THAT was the good news that overtook the world 2,000 years ago! THAT is the good news made possible by that very first Easter! And THAT is the good news that can lead to a NEW LIFE for you!
