Join New Heritage Brand for an intimate and fly movie night screening of Boomerang — the iconic 1992 film starring Eddie Murphy, Halle Berry, Martin Lawrence and Chris Rock. This is not just a movie night. This is a celebration of Black legacy, Black art and community during Juneteenth week.
What most people never knew watching this film is that New Heritage Brand apparel was featured on screen. Our founder, the late Rodney Jones, built this brand in Baltimore, Maryland in 1988. His apparel appeared on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Cosby Show, A Different World and In Living Color. It was there the whole time.
New Heritage Brand was relaunched 10 years ago by their niece Tamira Wells to continue the legacy of Rodney and Belinda Jones. This Juneteenth week we are honoring them and everyone who came before us on a big screen, in Downtown LA, surrounded by community.
