About this Event
A relaxed gathering called by members of Hulme Community Forum, where you can have your tea and find out why we think Hulme* needs a local plan, and how we hope to make it happen.
Essentially, a neighbourhood plan is a document that sets out planning policies for an area, giving residents and local businesses a say in what gets protected, what gets built and where. It can:
- Preserve green spaces and important landmarks
- Encourage better design
- Identify sites for housing and community facilities
- Bring forward homes that actually meet the needs of local people
Aquarius - St Bees - BBC - St Georges - Loxford - St Mary's - HfC - Redbricks - Etc!
Join us if you live or work in Hulme, so you can be involved or kept informed as things develop!
