About the Event:
Join us downtown for a children's reading, arts and crafts, slideshow presentation with Kim Chesney! Kim was born in Wakefield, Rhode Island, the middle of seven children. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida.
What sets Kim apart is that at a young age, she discovered that she had a passion for the performing arts. This would later blossom into a desire to become an artist and express herself through a variety of art forms, from the culinary arts to portraiture and her own brand of art, mixed media encaustic.
A Mysterious Night at the Library
It's the night before Halloween, and twins Kat and Ollie are in for a big surprise at the library. Under a full moon and shooting stars, they discover a little bear who's mysteriously fallen out of his book after being tucked away for over 100 years! There's just one problem―he doesn't know how to read! What's a bear to do? Luckily, Kat and Ollie know just the thing. They whisk him away to their old farmhouse, where they teach him the ABCs, show him the wonders of reading, and form a lasting bond of friendship along the way. The Mysterious Night at the Library is a delightful tale about the magic of books, the fun of learning, and the joy of new friendships.
