A MUSICAL TRIBUTE to RAJ KAPOOR

Raj Kapoor is one of the greatest filmmakers of all time, possessed of incredible acting ability and blessed with a very refined sense of music that ensured his films were veritable musicals with every song a hit. We will celebrate his great contribution to the Golden Era of Hindi films by presenting a specially curated collection of top songs from his hit films as a filmmaker and an actor, such as Aag, Anari, Awaara, Barsaat, Bobby, Chori Chori, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behti Hai, Mera Naam Joker, Phir Subah Hogi, Sangam, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Shri 420, Teesri Kasam, and others.

These songs will be performed live by leading stage artistes Sagar Sawarkar, Dhanashri Deshpande, Govind Mishra, Prajakta Satardekar, and N. S. Kishore Kumar, with a top chorus to the accompaniment of a leading orchestra led by Chetan Upadhyaya. The event is planned and presented by N. S. Kishore Kumar.
