The Friends of the Felgemaker will host "A Morning with the Felgemaker,” an interactive program for children that features Sacred Heart Music Center’s historic Felgemaker pipe organ. This FREE interactive program is geared towards younger children (K-5th grade) and is all about animals. The morning activities will include:- Listening to humorous organ music about animals, including the famous “Carnival of the Animals” by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns
- Seeing live zoo animals provided by the Lake Superior Zoo Education Department
- Creating animal drawings while listening to music
- Touring the inside of the Felgemaker pipe organ
- Seeing up close how a pipe organ works by experiencing an Orgelkids miniature organ
The event is FREE, from 10 - 11:30 am, Saturday, January 18, 2025. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No tickets are needed.
