Take time to pause, rest, and encounter peace. “A Moment’s Peace” is a contemplative service with scripture, prayer, music, and communion. All are invited, including those who have carried hurt, those who have felt on the margins of church, and all who long for the grace of God. At First Presbyterian Church (61 Picardy Place, Winnipeg) Led by Rev. Matt Brough, and musician Rachel Colman.
This night is focused on two parables about seeds. In both, the growth from a seed is a mystery, where God is up to something and we participate, yes, but where the “how” of our growth in faith and as communities is somewhat hidden from us.
