A Modernist Eye - Pop/Art/Fashion film festival - Celebrating 10 years of Mono Media Films

LTB is proud to partner with MonoMedia for their first retrospective exhibition celebrating ten years of independent film production. Since 2013 the team of producer Mark Baxter and director Lee Cogswell have forged their own path making a series of documentaries exploring the contemporary modernist impulse in art fashion jazz pop and soul music plus a variety of music videos behind-the-scenes featurettes short promotional films and more. 

Over the weekend of 21-22 January 2023 we will show nearly their entire decade of output. The major documentaries - on Nolan Porter Tubby Hayes. John Simons Peter Blake The Style Council and Stone Foundation - will be screened in The Showroom from 12 noon - 7pm on Saturday 21st with a shorter program screened 12-4pm on Sunday 22nd. Upstairs in the Projection Gallery we will screen a rolling programme of the music videos by Neville Staples Paul Weller Stone Foundation and other short works.
