Date for your diaries.....We are very excited to announce our concert date for November 2024 so please take a note of it and put it into your diaries. The concert will be in St. Mary's Church Swanage and should start at 6.30pm but we will confirm this closer to the time.
The 30th November 2024 and what a cracker this will be! It will be David's last concert with us 🥲 and so we are including one of his own pieces, but don't worry we have worked very hard in the background to find his replacement (As if that is possible!) for the spring 2025 term - more on that later in the year.
I am delighted to be able to announce that the Junior Choir will also be joining us once again 🥳

First Half
Fauré: Cantique de Jean Racine (Jnr Choir)
Bach-Gounod: Ave Maria (Jnr Choir)
Fawcett: Rosa Mystica (Jnr Choir and PAC)
Vaughan Williams: Five mystical songs (Jnr Choir and PAC)
Second Half
Bruckner: Ecce sacerdos magnus
Bruckner: Tota pulchra es
Elgar: O hearken thou
Bairstow: Blessed City, heavenly Salem
Barber: Sure on this shining night
Vaughan Williams: Serenade to music
So that is Faure, Bach, Fawcett, Bruckner, Elgar, Bairstow and Barber - What a miscellany of musical memories - If that lot doesn't whet your appetite nothing will! 😁
Of course we are always on the lookout for new members and if you fancy trying us out we shall once again be offering our "Sing before you sign" promotion where you will be able to come along for two rehearsals before committing to the term - Please spread the word far and wide, we are of course particularly short of the male voices, but any voice is welcome to give us a go!
