Mindfulness is the purposeful cultivation of wise and affectionate attention in the present moment. When mindful awareness is brought into relationship with works of art, it provides a means to notice more deeply how art moves and imbues us with moments of awe, wonder, and emotional resonance.Join mindfulness and meditation teacher, Amy Zoe Schonhoff, founder of Mindfulness in the Heartland, on Saturday, June 1st from 10 to 11 a.m. for "A Mindful Walk in the Sculpture Park."
Together we'll explore and contemplate our experiences with works of art installed on the grounds of the Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park located on the campus of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
This event is free but donations are appreciated.
