On Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 10 a.m. Wisconsin Black Historical Society Museum will host a celebration of life memorial for William Alfonso Taylor (Bill Taylor or “BT” as he was affectionately called). Bill Taylor passed away on May 8, 2024 in Cumming, Georgia. The celebration of Bill Taylor’s life will be held on his birthday (August 3).

Bill was a longtime Milwaukee reporter and anchor for WTMJ-TV4 where he co-produced the popular series, “Positively Milwaukee,” and covered stories locally and globally. He retired in 2001 and was recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for his contributions with a Silver Circle Award in 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Wisconsin Black Historical Society Museum.
