The choir will then surround the audience to perform Giovanni Gabrieli’s magnificent Plaudite, written for three choirs—an awe-inspiring sonic experience that fills the space from every corner. From there, we journey through stirring Christmas spirituals, Franz Biebl’s beloved Ave Maria, and fresh, modern arrangements of traditional carols and seasonal favorites. At the heart of the program lies John Rutter’s powerful Gloria—a thrilling work for voices, brass, percussion, and organ that bursts with jubilation and triumph. The concert concludes in luminous peace, as the choir once again surrounds the audience with the moving strains of Peace, Peace, offering a heartfelt wish for harmony in the season and beyond.
