Legendary guitarist John Tropea joins an All-Star Band on a musical journey through the lifework of one of the most influential and unusual artists of our time, Sir Van Morrison.
Well known for hiring only the top studio musicians, Morrison called on the highly regarded guitarist when recording Astral Weeks, Vedon Fleece, and St. Dominic’s Preview. Tropea has recorded with hundreds of artists, including Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, Laura Nyro, James Brown, Bonnie Raitt, Lyle Lovett, Chuck Mangione, Barbara Striesand, Frankie Valli, Chaka Kahn, Aretha Franklin, Harry Chapin, Deodato, Bo Diddley, Miles Davis, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and Yoko Ono.
Fresh off his recent soundtrack work on the award-winning film A Complete Unknown, ‘Blues Brother’ Rob Paparozzi leads Gypsy Souls, a stellar 12-piece ensemble of musical nobility featuring ‘Crooner’ Pat Guadagno, ‘Musical Cosmopolite’ Michael Ghegan, Burlap to Cashmere’s Steve Delopoulos, and Maximum Horns, will take you Into the Mystic and beyond.
