Featuring a live performance from all-female mariachi band Mariachi Las Adelitas.
Hailing from Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Italy and the UK this unique 8 piece band formed in 2013 out of the desire to shatter stereotypes within this genre. The popular all-female band have played shows all over the UK including Glastonbury Festival, WOMAD Festival, Victorious, the Roundhouse the O2 forum and many more shows.
The group has three lead vocalists and are all professional instrumentalists playing traditional mariachi acoustic instruments. Mariachi Las Adelitas join us on the opening night of Brighton Winter Fayre, promising a repertoire of mariachi classics alongside original compositions and beautiful arrangements of classics and Christmas hits.
