Are you ready to dip your toes into garment sewing? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start! You’ll create a stylish and versatile A Little Somethin’ Jacket while learning essential skills to help you confidently work with garment patterns.
Instructor Lisa K. Giebink will guide you through the process of achieving a great fit and constructing a wearable project you’ll be proud to show off. This class is designed to take the guesswork out of sizing and help you feel comfortable working beyond “off-the-rack” expectations.
In this class, students will learn how to:
Use body measurements to determine the best pattern size and fit
Trace patterns onto Pattern Ease and adjust between sizes as needed
Sew seams and angles for a more flattering fit
Construct and inset sleeves
