A Little Out of Character!

A Little Out of Character: An Expressive Arts Workshop

Step out of the familiar. Explore what else is possible.

What happens when you allow yourself to move beyond your usual ways of thinking, feeling, and responding?

Out of Character is an experiential expressive arts workshop inviting you to explore yourself through art, movement, theatre, improvisation, and play. It is an opportunity to step outside familiar roles, experiment with different ways of being, and discover new perspectives on yourself and others.

Through creative explorations and shared experiences, we will explore resilience, connection, and change — not through finding the right answers, but through curiosity, expression, and the freedom to try something different.

This is a space to loosen up, get playful, connect with others, and meet yourself beyond the roles and patterns you usually inhabit. No prior experience in art, theatre, or movement is needed — just a willingness to show up and explore.

What to expect

• Creative explorations through visual art and movement
• Theatre, improvisation, and playful experiments
• Opportunities to explore new perspectives and possibilities
• Meaningful connections and shared reflections
• A welcoming space for curiosity, expression, and discovery

Who is this for?

Anyone curious about self-exploration, creativity, personal growth, or simply trying something a little different. You don't need to be an artist or performer. Come as you are, with room to explore who else you might be.
