The brewery was established in 2013 and named after the East end of Sanibel Island where the Point Ybel Lighthouse stands.

Point Ybel is led by Head Brewer & Co Owner Jordan Weisberg. His passion for brewing and strict motto that he would never serve a beer he wouldn’t drink has led the brewery to over 20 different statewide brewing medals and multiple local awards. He believes there’s a beer for everyone and constantly has a large diverse tap list to please most consumers. Point Ybel has been known for brewing NE Style IPAs, German Beer Styles, and also introducing Sour Ales to SWFL.
