A Little Bit of Everything: A Musical Evening with the Saskatoon Concert BandSaskatoon, SK – Forget about winter by coming to "A Little Bit of Everything"! The Saskatoon Concert Band presents "A Little Bit of Everything" on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at the Broadway Theatre. The evening will showcase a mix of classical, operatic, and contemporary pieces. There will be something for everyone to enjoy.
We are especially excited to feature Oleksandr Samarin, a talented trombonist from Ukraine, as our soloist. Having performed with the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra and other European groups, Oleksandr brings exceptional talent and artistry to the stage. He will perform two virtuosic trombone pieces: Bolivar and Blue Bells of Scotland, both demanding the highest level of skill and musicality.
There will be a bit of this and a bit of that, such as Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute, Robert Jager’s Sinfonia Nobilissima and Broadway Curtain Time. The performance will also feature works like Gallant Zouaves March and the Te Deum Act 1 Finale of Tosca.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and seating is general admission. Tickets are priced at $25 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, and free for children under 8. All sales are final. For more details, visit saskatoonconcertband..
