Our first installment of the Summer Of Love series in collaboration with Twelves Record Shop has arrived.Owner Hector Waluyo selects, "Telegraph Avenue". the eponymous album from 1971. A mesmerizing journey through a vibrant tapestry of Latin Soul and Psychedelic Rock. Hailing from Lima, Peru and inspired by a six-month stay in San Francisco, "Telegraph Avenue" embodies the essence of the era's counterculture movement from the Bay Area, while including elements of latin percussion & rhythms. With its timeless sound and profound genre-blending. Telegraph Avenue's self-titled record remains a gem.
Alongside the listening session we bring in the heavy hitting Psicosis crew consisting of DJ's Roger Mars & Alberto Sol.
Psicosis \*Discos Primitivos Para Gozar\* runs a monthly party in Los Angeles where they spin the essential Latin Garage & Psychdelic Rock cuts & for the first time they are bringing this party to Long Beach. To finish off the night Hector Waluyo will be spinning from his personal collection serving up some deep funk, raw soul and latin rarities & gem's.
A Twelves Record pop-up shop will also be on site with wax curated by only the best.
