For the month of May we present to you a very special listening session of the 1965 album, "A Love Supreme" By John Coltrane."A Love Supreme" stands as a testament to John Coltrane's spiritual journey and musical mastery. The album is a deeply personal exploration of faith and devotion, inspired by Coltrane's spiritual awakening and his quest for transcendence. Comprising four movements—Acknowledgement, Resolution, Pursuance, and Psalm—the album takes listeners on a transformative sonic voyage, where Coltrane's saxophone becomes a vessel for conveying profound emotions and spiritual insights. Alongside the session, Los Angeles based jazz quartet, Mood, will perform live. This experimental jazz band pushes the boundaries of the genre with their avant-garde compositions and electrifying performances. Fusing elements of free jazz, electronic experimentation, and improvisation.
