Come along and celebrate the second release on Rhythm Doctor's 'Almost Unknown' label. A 3 track 12'' ep featuring music by Armenian, Georgian and Soviet musicians recorded between 1974 and 1979 in the USSR. A limited edition of 250 hand numbered copies.Side A is an interpretaion of a Fela Kuti song from a Georgian jazz ensemble led by Robert Bardzimashvili, recorded in 1979.
On side B There are two uptempo jazz dance-floor cuts featuring Armenenia Jazz musicians, Konstantin Orbelyan, Tatevik Organesyan (1978) and Georgiy Garanian (1974)
Rhythm Doctor will playing a selection of music from eastern Europe. Notably from Estonia, where he now resides and other countries including, Azerbaijan, Czechoslovakia, Poland and more. An obscure three hour set of jazz, funk and electronica!
