DJ Cozmic Cat has played the soundtrack to some of our greatest (maybe most dramatic?) pride memories! Whether it's spinning at one of the Pride Stages or hosting the infamous Cherry Bomb with collaborator Denise Benson, Cozmic Cat has brought so much joy, movement and community into queer people's lives. At our show, Cozmic Cat steps away from the turntables and chats to us about what her incredible career has taught her about the meaning of pride, community and connection.

LEARN DANCE MOVES FOR ANY PRIDE PARTY

Pride is filled with dance parties for every genre, vibe and flavour. But are you equipped with the right moves to be able to dance at ALL OF THEM??? Well, type-A control freak, Gabrielle wants to ensure she's prepared for any and all Pride dancing scenario. For this show's how-to segment, we're going to learn the DOs and DON'Ts of looking HOT on the dancefloor. All of this will result in a dance-off between Gabrielle, Slim, Kaleb and then ... you! The audience. Guaranteed to end in chaos.

Seating is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE unless you purchase a table. If you want a great seat, come early! Doors open at 8:00pm.

Same day tickets will be sold at the door for $22. If the show is sold out, rush tickets will be available for standing room only or seats with less-than-great views. The rush line will be admitted 10 minutes before the show.

ABOUT "A LATE NIGHT GAB WITH FRIENDS"

A Late Night GAB With Friends is a monthly queer late-night talk show hosted by resident Iraqi Jewish asthmatic, Gabrielle Zilkha, who is joined by co-host and ballroom legend Slimthick Monroe and sassy in-house DJ Kaleb Robertson (of Fay and Fluffy fame!). The show features guest interviews, musical acts, audience games and playful how-to segments. The event promises a chaotic, joy-filled and playful night of entertainment and laughter all taking place in the intimate and historic space of The Glad Day Bookshop.

Thoughtful and true, T. Thomason’s songs shine through the darkness in the world. Since he began releasing music as a teenager, Halifax-based Thomason has been on a journey of discovery. Cozmic Cat is a Canadian House/electronic music DJ and Producer based in Toronto and known for dynamic, fun and high energy performances as well as unique and diverse artist partnerships. She has performed globally from Ireland to South Africa, and her original music has appeared in Film, Apps, and Ads, and is played and supported by Djs, radio show hosts and Producers worldwide.

As a DJ she has shared the stage with the likes of Ultra Naté, Mark Knight, JellyBean Benitez, Hotmood (Mexico), The Shapeshifters, Lee Foss, Claptone, ANA, Jessu & Pyka, Analogue Soul (Brooklyn) + more.

She has performed main stage at events such as Cirque Du Soleil Closing Party, Electric Island Festival 2022, Nuit Blanche, Calvacade of Lights, Cherry Beach, Harbourfront Center, TIFF, Toronto Pride Festival stages, London Pride, and many more.
