A John Prine Tribute with the Mark Lavengood Band and Jen Sygit

A John Prine Tribute with the Mark Lavengood Band and Jen Sygit. For about ten years, Grand Rapids dobro player and songwriter Mark Lavengood has gathered a full band of Michigan musicians to celebrate the songs of John Prine. Known for his soulful take on Prine's classics and his engaging stage presence, Lavengood and the band deliver standout hits and deep cuts alike, with plenty of laughter, poignancy, and the timeless storytelling Prine embodied. Michigan songwriter Jen Sygit opens the night with a set of her own. It's the show where the whole room ends up singing.
