About this Event

CUNY English and Film Criticism professor Isabella Tecson will guide you through the glamour of the Universal Monsters, the gritty and gory world of Hammer Film, and close with some thoughts on Sinners, all while keeping an eye out for wooden stakes. Everyone is invited to this hour-long talk, except for vampires!

Isabella Tecson is an adjunct screenwriting, creative writing, and English professor at Queens College and CCNY, where she is also a creative nonfiction MFA candidate. A former film critic for Asian Cinevue, Isabella is also a working script doctor and Resident speaker for Lectures On Tap.
