Join us for the grand opening of Evergreen Museum & Library’s latest exhibition, A History of Houseplants, which explores the Victorian houseplants craze and today's similar obsession with indoor flora. Experience a special panel discussion and Q&A in the museum's historic Bakst Theatre and then explore the exhibition, enjoy food and drink, and chat with the curatorial staff and special guests. Admission is free but pre-registration is required.

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
A History of Houseplants explains the historical forces that inspired the original trend, reveals how the trend manifested at Evergreen and in Baltimore, and examines how today’s houseplant craze both recalls and differs from the Victorian version of 150 years ago. The exhibition will be on view October 1, 2022 through June 4, 2023. Admission is free and no registration is required.
