A Hanukkah Party featuring Michael Winograd and The Honorable Mentshn

Celebrate the second night of Hanukkah with a dance party led by Michael Winograd and his band The Honorable Mentshn! Winograd, one of today’s premier klezmer clarinetists, ushers this festive musical tradition of the Eastern European Jewish diaspora into the 21st century with sounds rousing, raucous, and poignant. Bring the whole family for a lively night of music, traditional Jewish dances led by instructor Judy Sweet, and interactive dreidel games and activities for all ages!
A special program celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, presented in partnership with the National Council for the Traditional Arts, the Institute for Immigration Research at George Mason University, and Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia.
