A Great Disturbance - The Life and Writings of Simone Weil

Writer and philosopher Simone Weil remains controversial more than 80 years after her death during World War II. This dramatic reading with music and images will feature excerpts from some of her key works - Gravity and Grace, On the Abolition of All Political Parties and The Iliad, or The Poem of Force.
Sonia Baku will be the voice of Simone, Alex Hancock will narrate the dramatic events of her short life, with music by pianist Isaiah Dobbins. The script is by Greg Williard.
