A Glimpse into Deeper Mindfulness
About this Event
Exploring the Stickiness of Feeling Tone
Have you ever noticed how a pleasant experience can make you want more, while an unpleasant experience can make you want to push it away?
Before we react, there is often a subtle “feeling tone” — pleasant, unpleasant or neutral — that shapes how we relate to our experience.
In this 2-session programme, we take a closer look at Feeling Tone (Vedanā) and explore how mindfulness can help us recognise the subtle moments where reactivity begins.
What we will explore:
• What is Feeling Tone?
• How pleasant, unpleasant and neutral experiences influence our reactions
• Recognising the patterns of wanting, resisting and ignoring
• Experiential mindfulness practices to explore Feeling Tone in everyday life
• How greater awareness can create more freedom in responding
