About this Event
This panel will be an intergenerational dialogue on the M**der of George Floyd and its lasting impact on justice, policing, and activism. Younger women will reflect on their personal experiences and emotions when they first witnessed the tragedy, how their families and communities responded, and how their views on the police and the justice system have evolved.
In response, older women will share their perspectives, connecting Floyd’s M**der to past injustices they have witnessed and fought against. They will reflect on what has changed—and what remains the same—in America’s fight for racial justice. Together, the discussion will explore the progress, setbacks, and lessons learned since that moment, highlighting the power of collective action and generational wisdom in shaping a path forward.
This conversation is about truth, healing, and ensuring that the lessons of George Floyd’s M**der are not lost but carried forward into real, lasting change.
