A Garden of Imagination, Artwork by Matthew Bahe, is the May exhibit at the San Juan College Henderson Fine Arts Center (HFAC) Art Gallery. The exhibit is on display from May 3 through May 31.As a craftsman and artist, Matthew Bahe’s work embodies a variety of mediums, from painting to pottery to woodworking. He envisions the exhibit to be like a garden, with different styles and imagery as a metaphor for different types of flowers. Each artwork is its own flower, created to contribute to Bahe’s inspirations in a unique way and to create a unified whole.
An opening reception for A Garden of Imagination is on Friday, May 3, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the HFAC Art Gallery, and the public is invited.
