About this Event

This event features performances by three independent artists and producers who are committed to the movement to Free Palestine.

In their work, these artists push boundaries and make art as a practice of radical freedom. They are inspired by the courage and creativity of organizers, activists, and people everywhere who dare to imagine new worlds.

Join Artists Against Apartheid, Laura Jinn, Tatum Gale, and girl named GOLDEN for an evening of music, joy, and expression to uplift movement work and learn how to get more involved in the NYC Pro-Palestine resistance.

All ticket sales & a portion of merch sales will go to MECA (Middle East Children’s Alliance), an organization that has local community aid workers throughout the Gaza Strip that provide food, shelter, clothing, medical supplies, and more.

Middle East Children's Alliance

Amidst the ongoing attack on Gaza, MECA team and partners are providing emergency assistance to families who have fled their homes to seek shelter with relatives as well as procuring emergency medical supplies for hospitals and clinics, and supplying food, shelter, and clothing.

A Statement from Artists Against Apartheid

"As artists and cultural producers, we join hands with the people of the world and with the heroic people of Palestine, to stop this genocidal war and put an end to 75 years of occupation. We understand the power that our work has in shaping public opinion in our time. As artists we have a unique responsibility to use our voice and artistic practices to protest apartheid and amplify the just cause of the Palestinian people and their resistance against occupation and oppression.

We, the undersigned artists, stand in firm solidarity with those resisting occupation and fighting for their right to self-determination. We commit to using our platforms to challenge at every turn the massive misinformation campaigns waged by those who have a vested interest in the destruction of the Palestinian land and people without fear of repercussions. We dedicate ourselves to standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to use our artistic and cultural practices as tools of liberation in the struggle for sovereignty, dignity, and self-determination."

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Laura Jinn & Tatum Gale

Laura Jinn and Tatum Gale write, sing and produce electronic alt pop. They harken to a wide array of influences, from Beach House to Grimes, Depeche Mode to 100 gecs, MIA to Toro y Moi. Their latest project, a collaborative EP called Termites, channels darkwave and emo energy into bittersweet dance anthems.

girl named GOLDEN

A unique voice in contemporary pop, girl named GOLDEN has set herself apart with a vulnerable and casually poetic writing style. It sets her soft and honest voice against an orchestral approach to production that resembles Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys. She came into the music scene doing everything on her own – writing, performing, recording, engineering, and producing her songs on her own. Since her 1st release, she has landed features on hit TV shows and award-winning films like Netflix “Never Have I Ever”, Paramount+ “Wolf Pack” and more.
