A FREAKING COLD Evening of Photography

Are you ready to learn photography in the freaking cold? Are you a seasonal person who only likes to photograph when warm, not windy, with no mosquitos? If so, this workshop is not for you!

Learning photography is a passion, and you have to photograph in various weather conditions. On January 22, 2022, I am challenging you to register for an evening of photography in the Cityscape of Calgary.

You will learn to use your tripod, remote/timer, proper white balance, aperture, ISO, composition, etc. Combine all of those, and you will create beautiful photos.

Are you ready to embrace a cold night of photography and capture the steam coming out of the tall skyscrapers, the partially frozen Bow River, etc., or will you wait when it is warm outside because you are a seasoned photographer and is not interested in improving your photography skills?

Meetup Location: Crescent Heights - by the stairs, the goes down to Memorial Drive + Another location about 500m from this location.

What to wear: do not wear shorts, sandals or apply sunscreen. Wear warm weather; otherwise, you will only last a few minutes and hate your experience. I recommend warm boots (-30), warm gloves and wearing layers of clothing.

If you did not learn a SINGLE thing during the workshop, I will give you back your money!

What to bring:

• FRESH batteries;

• Memory card (s)

• Tripod

• Lenses (1 or 2) don’t bring too much.

• Camera - you would be surprised

This is a 3h hands-on workshop. I am limiting the workshop to 4 because the smaller the group, the better your experience will be. And you will make new friends!

COVID-19 Protocol:

• I am doubled vaccinated + Booster. To register for the workshops, you will need to be double vaccinated.

Other:

• You will be provided with a printed booklet to keep to furthermore your journey.

• My goal is to keep photography fun and straightforward.

• In this small group of photographers, there will be a lot of opportunities for one-on-one instructions.
