About this Event
A storytelling event in time with the Spring Equinox. As winter gives way to spring, the dawn brings with it the bloom of new beginnings. In the same way, the seeds which have planted themselves within us are brought forth, bringing transformation and renewal.
But this new life is fragile - as the world around us goes through its own transformation, the future is uncertain. The seeds of Justice, Courage, and Trust must be cared for in order to survive the summer to come. But just as The Fool in the tarot steps forth unapologetically - trusting they are exactly where they are meant to be - we too must step forward into the unknown on a fearless journey towards justice and our own creation.
Join us as we embark, through story, into a future that is our own.
Located at South Mountain Community College - Studio Theatre PAC725. On the North Eastern location on campus - parking located right off 24th St.
Clarification for both parties : Come Sober and Be Sober - it is necessary that we hold space for each other at a shared, emotionally grounded level. Mythic Storytelling, as a naturally community creating event, has potency as an emotionally activating(triggering) tool for change. It is our responsibility to each other to be able to hold space for yourself, as for your friends and neighbors. If you are not grounded in our shared reality (i.e. high, tripping, drunk) one’s intoxicated reaction is an interruption for the shared social clarity. As this is also planning to be an all ages event, we must respect the parents, elders, and youth planning on attendance.
