The Bristol Folk SIngers are pleased to present their concert 'A Folk Christmas' at Kelvin Players in Bristol 19:30 on the 15th of December. It will be a lively and cosy evening of traditional Christmas carols and wintery folk songs sung in rich four part harmony.
The choir particularly specialises in reviving the tradition of singing pre-victorian carols which are largely unknown but are rousing and fun. Support for the choir will be provide by Matt Norman, a folk mandolinist.
There is no charge for the concert but a collection will be taken.
This concert will be a perfect way to get in to the seasonal spirit.
