A Evening with Terry Butcher - 40 Years a Rangers Legend
40 years on, he's back at Ibrox!
About this Event
One of the biggest personalities in the British game in the 80s and 90's, Terry Butcher talks about his time at Ibrox and the big names he played with and against for club and country: Souness, Gazza, Maradona, Super Ally and more.
Terry recalls his part in leading Rangers into the nine-in-a-row era; the big wins and the big bust-ups, including the “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” Old Firm bust-up that incredibly saw him, Chris Woods and Graham Roberts in court. As a manager, Terry had another big Rangers moment – he was in charge of Motherwell the day the league trophy changed direction towards Rangers on “Helicopter Sunday”. His return to Glasgow coincides with the production of an ITV documentary “Butcher: Invisible Wounds”. Come and meet this humble hero who helped redefine Rangers 40 years ago. Hosted by David Tanner.
