This is your dance-space: a step by step romp through an 80s cult classic! Put yourself in Baby's (white canvas) shoes as we teach you the steps to iconic dances within the film.If you've ever dreamt of sneaking up to the staff quarters for a steamy sway with Swayze or paused the VHS to see the steps in that scene-stealing shoe shine, join us for the time of your life.
Choose to dance as a leader or a follower (gender roles and heteronormativity can stay in the 60s). We'll rotate, so you don't have to bring a partner. Stick with your buddies or if you'd rather not have a rib-to-rib connection with a stranger, our dances can also be done solo.
Costumes are very much encouraged...
