A Deep Rest Session for Black Women

A Deep Rest Session is a restorative gathering created to help Black women reset their minds, bodies, and souls through gentle, intentional care. This experience invites you to lay down your Superwoman cape, release the weight of “holding it all together,” and allow yourself to be fully poured into.

Through the combined offerings of acudetox, sound healing, and nourishing food and tea, this session provides space to exhale and receive. Each element is curated with deep intention to support nervous system regulation, balance, and inner peace.

You’ll begin with grounding breathwork and reflection before moving into your acudetox treatment led by Nikkea of Simply Candid Counseling, designed to soothe the body and calm the mind. Then, Breezy of Breezy Movements will guide you through a tranquil sound bath, allowing the tones of crystal bowls to gently restore your energy. Finally, Chef Nina of Neqtar Society will offer smooth teas and aligned charcuterie cups, created to nourish your body and elevate the senses as you close in community.

Acudetox, also known as 5NP, is a gentle auricular acupuncture protocol where 1–5 sterile needles are placed in specific points on the ear by a trained specialist. This treatment supports nervous system regulation, relaxation, and emotional balance.

Many participants describe feeling calm, centered, and deeply rested after treatment. Side effects are minimal, and participation is always voluntary—you may stop or opt out at any time.
