Bands will have merchandise available for sale. This event is simply a gathering at a private residence for our attendees to come together and enjoy live music. This is a non-commercial/not-for-profit event so we DO NOT function in a traditional business capacity. As such we also do not SELL any food or beverages on the premises.
LOCATION:
The SGC is located at
2992 Pebblebrook Drive
Buford, GA 30518
(lower level around the back / don’t come to the front door)
BEVERAGES and FOOD ITEMS - The event is BYOB but we will have a limited selection of beers and various non-alcoholic beverages (sodas, bottled water, coffee...etc). There will be ice coolers and a small fridge to keep the drinks cold. So we encourage you to ‘Bring Your Own Beer/Beverages’ if you are particular about what you drink. For those making last minute beverage purchases, the gas station at the end of our street has a decent beer, wine and snack selection and is open until midnight. If you are consuming alcohol, please do so responsibly. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE under the age of 21 will be permitted to drink on the property. Please have your ID on hand. If we don’t know you personally we and our security staff reserve the right to ask you for an ID if you are drinking. We will be providing snack/appetizer type stuff for everyone (chips, cookies, meat/cheese/veggie party tray items...etc.) We encourage you to bring food if you want something more substantial to eat. There are also plenty of restaurants in the immediate vicinity and you are more than welcome to have food delivered. (Uber eats and such…)
PARKING - There is limited parking available on the property. For this reason we encourage carpooling, taxis, or rideshare services (Uber or Lyft). For those driving to the event there is parking available over on Arden Drive on the grassy side with no houses on it...it’s about a 3-4 minute walk. (maps are posted in the discussion) For the bands parking on our lot, each end of our property will be marked with orange cones and red reflectors. It is perfectly fine to park on our grass and off the street, although street parking is legal...just be sensible and considerate to our neighbors. DO NOT PARK in any of the cul-de-sacs, in any of our neighbor's yards, in front of any or our neighbor’s driveways, fire hydrants or utility boxes. We’re just trying to help prevent your vehicle from getting damaged or impounded. We will have maps to our property and parking areas available. When you arrive take the gravel walkway down to our back deck entrance. ***DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE BLUE HOUSE NEXT DOOR TO THE LEFT***
HEALTH AND SAFETY - If you feel sick or have any symptoms of illness (cold, flu, COVID, cooties or leprosy), please do not attend. No masks are required. But feel free to bring and wear a mask if you wish to do so. We will have hearing protection (ear plugs) available. If you have any food or beverage allergies, please make us aware but also act accordingly. Ultimately we want everyone who attends to be safe...but attendance is AT YOUR OWN RISK.
RULES - ABSOLUTELY NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES OR WEAPONS ALLOWED on the premises!! Basically if it ain’t allowed on the premises, best leave it in your car or at home. There will be a security detail for this event. No fighting or any activity that could cause injury to yourself or others. No activities that could cause damage to our property or someone else’s property. Smoking of tobacco products is permitted outside on the deck...we will provide an ashtray for cigarettes and cigars so don’t ash or throw butts in our yard as that is a fire hazard and could burn down the house and the woods. Please dispose of all trash in waste disposal cans...not our yard. When outside please keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb our neighbors. Non-compliance with any part of these rules will result in said person(s) being ejected from the property. Basically just don't be an asshole, be respectful of our home and our neighbors and we won’t have a problem.
OVERNIGHT STAY - We can make some accommodations for those who may need to stay the night. We have a couple couches, inflatable mattresses and plenty of floor space. Those planning on staying are encouraged to bring a pillow, blanket or sleeping bag. If you are traveling a great distance to hang with us or end up drinking too much, we definitely encourage you to stay. There are hotels nearby if you are seeking such accommodations.
Any questions, call or text Sean at 770-374-8660. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing everybody!!
