Founded in May of 2016, Bridgeport Generation Now began as an all-volunteer grassroots social action network.
Over the years, our mission and purpose grew. Today, we organize to dismantle systemic corruption and racism so that we can build the just, equitable, democratic and livable Bridgeport we know is possible.
Our members have not done this work alone. Our collective wins are the result of deep relationships with people throughout our city and across the state.
✊🏽 Movements for change don’t happen overnight. And they do not triumph in silos. They are built on collective people power. And they are won by not giving up.
