Have you heard of Zentangle? Ever wondered what it’s like?
Zentangle is a meditative drawing practice, during which you create non-representational and unplanned designs or “tangles” using simple lines and shapes. The completed tangles look something like the art style in popular adult coloring books. Shari is a certified teacher!
Saturday, June 27, Shari will host TWO Zentangle classes to accommodate different practice levels!
If you’ve never tried Zentangle before, come learn about it and create your first Zentangle art! No experience needed. In this class we will learn the theory and basics of Zentangle. All supplies are provided, and you’ll go home with a starter kit. This first class will be an introductory or beginners’ class, held from 1:00 – 2:30 PM, upstairs at Dragon Bite. This first class is $25 per person.
If you’ve already taken one of Shari’s classes – including the one listed above – or classes with another Zentangle artist, come explore the summer with Zentangle! In this class, we’ll do a Zentangle-inspired summer themed tile with lots of new tangles! It’s recommended that you’ve taken a beginner class prior to this class as the techniques will be a bit more advanced. All supplies provided. This second class will be held from 2:30 – 4:00 PM, upstairs at Dragon Bite. This second class is $22 per person.
