A Day of Sacred Silence

Whether you are seeking quiet, clarity or simply a break from the chaos, this day of sacred silence will help you breathe a little more deeply, pray a little more intentionally, and experience some much needed spiritual renewal.

Our time together will begin with words of welcome, reflections on sacred silence, opening worship and an introduction to the abundant prayer resources available to you throughout the day including...

• indoor labyrinth
• contemplative coloring
• scriptural reflections
• creative prayer supplies
• soul collage
• picture books for praying
• prayer resource library
• sacred space for prayer within the church (chapels, parlor, sanctuary)
• walking slowly around the peaceful reflecting pool
• gazing at sacred art in the Cleveland Museum of Art (free access across the street)

A delicious box lunch (from Tommy's Restaurant) will also be available for you to enjoy during the silence. At the end of the day, we will regather for closing communion and a celebration of Belly of the Whale Ministries' 10th Anniversary (cake will be involved!)!

Cost for this event is "Pay What You Can" so that all can participate. Your kindness and generosity will help sustain Belly of the Whale Ministries for years to come.
