Join your friends from FUMC Allen for an afternoon at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary located just up the road from the church off Hwy 5 in McKinney. Since 1967, the Heard has been dedicated to bringing nature and people together through a variety of events and educational opportunities in a 289-acre nature preserve and museum.
You can tour the museum, walk the trails, and enjoy the seasonal Dragon Tails exhibit which runs until June 27, 2026. This exhibit trail is about .5 miles long. You’ll see the dragons move and hear them roar! Lots of fun photo ops will be available.
Dragon Trails is included with general admission and free for Heard Museum members. Tickets range in price from $12 for children (ages 3-12), $14 for seniors (60+), and $16 for adults. Children age 2 and under are admitted free of charge. Parking is free.
